Honestly I haven’t taken an Adobe training course since CS4 came out a few years ago. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do, but just haven’t gotten around to it. Last time I took a course it was around $150 for After Effects and Premiere Pro. At the time that was a pretty good deal.
While hunting for a refresher course I came across this Adobe CS6 training course for $99. Not only does it cover After effects and Premiere Pro, but also the entire Masters collection. I’ve always wanted to sit down and learn Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Flash but for the small amount I actually need to use them I usually end up farming the work out.
I went ahead and spent the $99 on the training course to give it a try before I posted about it. I’m currently halfway through the Flash course and finished up the Premiere Pro course last night. I would say the training covers beginner to intermediate use while touching lightly on more advanced features. I found the Premiere Pro training to be a good refresher and it reminded me of some shortcut keys I had forgotten about.
If you’re just getting started with CS6 or if you’re like me and want to freshen up on the latest features, I think it’s well worth the $99 to check out. If you’re interested you can find out more here. Just make sure that if you spend the $99 you’ll actually take the time to go through courses.
